Spiritual growth is key to each and every Christian. Please take a few moments to read below and see what you can do to become more like Christ.
To KNOW GOD certain things are a must. You must devote yourself to reading the Word of God, and to Prayer. The Bible also tells us that Worship and gathering as believers is an important part of that process! We suggest that you start by following a daily bible reading plan like THIS ONE, and at the same time make a habit of attending either our 9am or 11am service!
A LifeGroup is 4 to 20 people gathering in a leader’s home or at a designated LifeGroup room at the church building on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to share food, fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. Life Groups exist to accomplish two vital goals of the Kingdom. First, to edify believers by connecting them on a more intimate level and helping them to become more like Jesus. The second goal is to evangelize by offering another venue besides the regular church service that may be initially less intimidating to seekers and those interested in finding out more about Jesus. Find a LifeGroup you feel you would fit in well with HERE and email us at info@myspiritlife.tv to let us know which one you would like to attend!
All missional living starts with worship and leads to more worship, both personally and corporately. Just as faith without works is dead, good works separated from active trust in the person and work of Jesus are also dead. Entering into the mission of Jesus requires that we first enter into His rest . . . receiving His easy yoke and light burden of grace. To help cultivate this mindset, we will:
We are called by Jesus to follow Him into the world as an expression of our worship. As carriers of heaven’s DNA and the aroma of Jesus in His world, we want to carry His grace, truth, and beauty into all the places where we live, work, and play–primarily through:
Because so many people spend the majority of their waking hours working—whether as a volunteer or for hire—it is important to see vocation as a calling from God and the workplace as a primary realm for following Jesus and loving the world. We express these truths by:
Because the poor in spirit are called “blessed,” and because Jesus gave special attention to the poor, the weak, the under-served, the overlooked, and those living on the margins, the Church must dedicate her time, energy, service, and a significant portion of her financial resources to mercy and justice efforts. We will do this by:
The hope is that as we pursue this kind of missional living, our people will, in the power of the Spirit, make Jesus, unignorable in our city!
Now that you are on the path to becoming all that God created you to be, you have one more crucial step. It's time to BELONG!
